Workshop is one of the foremost platforms in technology degree program, providing hands-on operating and manufacturing experience to the undergraduate students. The faculty workshop consists of machine shop (metal work), fitting shop, foundry, smithy, welding shop and carpentry shop. It facilitates the academic programme in multiple ways. Experiments as well as training sessions are conducted for the first and second year undergraduates in the areas of workshop and automobile Technologies. In addition, the manufacture of necessary items/ hardware for student projects is carried out in the workshops. Moreover, the workshop supports in the development of equipment for teaching and research, maintenance of machines and equipment, industrial consultancy works and a variety of fabrication work for the faculty.
