The final year research students Ms. T.Kanuja and Ms. P.Pavithira won the best oral certificates for their research papers presented at the first NABS international conference on life sciences organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University jointly with the National Academy of Biological Sciences (NABS), Chennai, India. Ms. T. Kanuja was supervised by Ms. S. Keerthini and Dr. S. Vasantharuba under the title of “Isolation and identification of probiotic lactic acid from banana, papaya, and fermented rice batter” and Ms. P. Pavithira was supervised by Dr. (Mrs). Selvaskanthan, Ms. V. Raveenthira, Prof. (Mrs.) S. Sivachanidiran under the title of “Effect of different dehydration techniques for preservation of selected garden flowers”.
