FoT Debate Team representing the Faculty of Technology, University of Jaffna, has made a remarkable movement being a Champions.
The “Yarl Vageesara 2021 “is an inter-faculty debate completion organized by the Department of Law, the University of Jaffna with the collaboration of the National Peace Council, Sri Lanka, under the initiative of NPC’s CYEP project. The theme of “ Let’s work for peace and reconciliation ” via Zoom.
Mr. Mohanaraj Harikaran, Miss. Pushpakala Muththaiya, Miss. Ajeeva Arivalakan, and Mr. Suntharraj Ajithkumar from the Department of Biosystems Technology, Miss. Benutharsika Tharmalingam and Mr. Punniyanathan Pushparaj from the Department of Engineering Technology participated in the semi-final on the 29th of October 2021 and the team FOT headed to finals by obtaining a lead score of 3- 0 on the board.
Mr. Mohanaraj Harikaran, from the Department of Biosystems Technology, won the Best Speaker awards in the grand finale and second round in semi-finals.
Mr. S.A. Ajithkumar, from the Department of Biosystems Technology, won the Best Point Builder awards in the grand finale.
